Organized by Gürsu Municipality and European Enterprise Association; The Ecologics: Young People Coding the Future project, supported by Bursa Technical University - Innovative State University and Uludağ University and hosted by BTSO Bursa Business School, was successfully completed.
In this process, where hundreds of students applied, 44 students made it to the finals, in 11 teams; By matching one-to-one with 11 real companies located in Bursa, it developed green and sustainable solutions to the real problems of the companies.
What makes the project unique; The preparation process before the hackathon included field visits and Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability trainings integrated into the program. In this way, participants started the process with a common and equal basis of information.
This project also has a special place for me. Having the opportunity to mentor all teams throughout the process; It was very valuable for me to see closely the perspective, needs and potential of each team.
While providing support on the project in terms of legislation, engineering approach and idea development, I often positioned myself as the 5th member of each team. This process is not just a mentorship for me; It was a mutual learning experience.
