Our future; It is shaped by the combination of our experience and the excitement of young people.
Recently, I had the opportunity to take part as a jury member in a very valuable project for me: hashtag#ECOLOGICS.
ECOLOGICS: Young Minds Coding the Future project; It was a Sustainability Hackathon and Panel organized by the European Enterprise Association with the support of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gürsu Municipality, MÜSİAD Bursa Branch, Bursa Technical University, Bursa Uludağ University and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
My dear teachers Prof. Dr. It was very difficult to determine the top 3 among 10 teams, including Güray Çelik, Perihan Binnur Kurt-Karakus and Hüseyin ÖZMEN. However, I clearly saw that the real winners of this process were all the students who participated in the project.
During the program, young people; They demonstrated both their technical competence and their vision for a sustainable future with the projects they developed focusing on software, environmental awareness, digitalization and innovation.
The potential demonstrated by these energetic, exciting and responsible young people made me truly proud beyond giving me hope.
I would like to express my gratitude to the strong organization of the European Enterprise Association, especially the efforts of Murat Dogan and Adem Yıldırım, the support of all institutions that contributed to the project, approximately 300 young people who courageously stepped into the process, the 50 finalists who performed great works in the final, and all the stakeholders who worked for the young people.
Sustainability, digitalization and green transformation; When combined with the perspective of young people, the future is not only possible, it is much stronger!
