Thanks to the Ecologics project, I am proud to present our project, which I have been working on with great passion for the last month, transforming starch waste into the biodegradable packaging of the future, to the jury and coming in 3rd place!
In this process, which started with our field visits, we identified not only a "waste management" problem, but actually an "Industrial Resource Idleness" waiting to be discovered in the raw material cycle. It was exciting to see that starch waste, which was thought to have lost its function in the production line, actually had the potential to become a biofilm that protects food safety and gives breathing space to nature.
At that moment, I shared not only technical data but also a vision. While analyzing the economic burden created by the loss of raw materials in the current system with our Operational Efficiency Report; The satisfaction of explaining how this loss could turn into an Ecological Innovation Pioneer was priceless. The first sample we developed in the laboratory environment; Seeing it replace the plastic bag in a Turkish delight box or the safety tape in a jar increased my belief in our project even more.
Endless thanks to everyone who stood by me during this intense and instructive marathon, provided their technical support, and shared our vision. We didn't just produce a packaging alternative; We have designed a sustainable model to create a Net Positive Ecological Impact.
