The final of our Young Digital Entrepreneurship Academy Project, which started in July 2023 under the management of Gürsu Municipality, took place in January 2025 in cooperation with Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The 5th stage (2024) in which we supported the digital transformation of our Grand Bazaar tradesmen, the cultural ambassadors of our Bursa, with our volunteer youth. (October - January 2025 period) Campus E-Commerce Academy Final took place at BTSO Main Building on January 10 at 09.30.
What did we do in this 18-month project?
- 200 hours of applied training with an innovative methodology A quarter of the 125 people who received it became business owners or entrepreneurs. Our innovative education model has become an example of good practice for all institutions.
- Bursa's first Digital Game Development Competition for young people aged 13-18 was held in Gürsu with the participation of 1000 young people in 20 schools.
- The first for young people aged 13-18, covering Bursa and Yalova provinces. The 24-hour Digital Game Development Hackathon took place at Gürsu Ericek Adrenalin Park with the participation of 80 people. Prizes worth 55 thousand TL were presented to the top 3 teams, sponsored by gaming companies.
- Bursa's first 24-hour E-Commerce Hackathon for young people aged 18-35 was held in cooperation with Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bursa Technical University and Bursa Uludağ University, with the participation of 100 young people at Gürsu Ericek Adrenalin Park. happened. Prizes worth 50 thousand TL were presented to the top 3 teams under the sponsorship of BTSO.
- 21 female entrepreneurs over the age of 35, who are not in active business life, received tax exemption in cooperation with the Tax Office and started selling the products they produce at home in the market and e-commerce without opening a company. started.
- BEBKA T.R. under the coordination of Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency. Thanks to the grant project support with a budget of 1 million TL received from the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Digital Competence Development Center with 15 of the most qualified computers in Bursa was put into service in Gürsu. started.
- Our project won the 2024 Golden Ant Award by the Marmara Municipalities Union for producing concrete supports for local development.
- More than 3 thousand citizens of all ages participated in our project activities during 18 months. participated.
