Climate Action

Why it matters

The bigger picture

The climate crisis is a threat that cuts across all sustainable development goals. Involving young people in climate policy and local action is decisive for long-term resilience.

Climate education and strengthened institutional capacity help communities prepare for disasters and climate shocks.

The 2030 Agenda does not treat Climate Action in isolation from the other sixteen goals. Progress depends on inclusive policies, reliable data, long-term investment, and cooperation between public institutions, civil society, academia, and the private sector. Connecting local action to measurable outcomes is therefore essential for turning the global framework into lasting change.
